Overview & Highlights

Located at Lot 981, right in front of Petron Teluk Kemang in the charming village of Kampung Teluk Kemang, PD Famous Cendol Coconut Shake stands out as a beloved local cendol restaurant that promises both tradition and variety under one roof. This bustling food court-style venue is a haven for those craving the quintessential Malaysian dessert experience alongside an impressive array of other culinary delights.

At the heart of PD Famous's allure is their signature cendol—an icy, sweet, and creamy dessert that's beautifully enriched with a thick, rich coconut santan (coconut milk). What truly makes their cendol shine are the generous and thoughtfully chosen toppings. Highlights include the unique durian cendol, where the iconic King of Fruits melts into the chilled sweetness, offering a captivating blend of creamy and slightly pungent flavor that perfectly complements the smoothness of the santan. Other toppings such as pulut (glutinous rice) add a delightful chewy texture, elevating every bite into a multi-sensory delight. Nicholas, one satisfied visitor, captures this perfectly, noting how the combination of durian with the coconut santan creates a "really solid" flavor that’s both memorable and wallet-friendly.

Beyond the cendol itself, visitors can indulge in a refreshing coconut shake, another crowd favorite that offers a luscious, tropical burst of flavor—ideal for the warm Port Dickson weather. While the cendol and coconut shake are the stars, the food court setting houses a variety of local and fusion dishes, satisfying different palates. As Cherry Lee observed, the atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with plenty of seating and convenient parking, making it a relaxed spot for friends and families to gather.

Muhammad Fahim highlights the diversity of food options, praising this establishment as a must-visit for anyone in Port Dickson looking for great food and easy accessibility. The fact that there is even a surau available reflects the thoughtful consideration for visitors’ needs, further enhancing the dining experience. However, like all places, there’s room for small improvements; some customers, such as GameClicker, have mentioned that certain elements like the red beans and crushed ice could be fresher to boost the overall texture and taste.

Whether you’re a devoted fan of traditional Malaysian desserts or a curious traveler eager to explore local flavors, PD Famous Cendol Coconut Shake offers an authentic and heartwarming taste of Negeri Sembilan. The harmonious blend of creamy coconut, refreshing sweetness, and unique toppings creates a truly memorable experience that invites you to slow down and savor every spoonful in a convivial and lively setting.

This place is like a food court with all kinds of food. There are many tables and some parking lots. The cendol was good and had a few toppings (durian, pulut, etc). You can try other foods in this food court as well.

If you're in Port Dickson and looking for a great spot to enjoy delicious food with family or friends, PD Famous is a must-visit! The variety of food choices here is impressive – from local favorites to Western and fusion dishes, there’s something for everyone. Parking is easy and convenient, which is a big plus, especially during peak hours. There’s also a surau available for prayers and clean toilet facilities for added comfort. The food court is well-maintained and clean, creating a pleasant dining environment. One of the best things is its location – just a short walk to the beach, making it perfect for a relaxed outing. Most importantly, the food tastes excellent! Every dish we tried was flavorful and satisfying. Prices are also affordable and reasonable, making it a great value for money. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Port Dickson – you won’t be disappointed!

Famous cendol durian spot in PD, and honestly very worth it. The price is super reasonable, and even though the durian isn’t the super premium type, once it mixes with the rich coconut santan from the cendol, the flavour becomes really solid. I think there were around 4 to 6 seeds, which for the price is very reasonable. The coconut shake is also worth trying. Tastes amazing, especially on a windy day by the beach. It’s filled with actual coconut content and not just loaded with ice like some other places. The coconut flavour is strong and spot on. A great stop if you’re in PD and craving something cold and satisfying.

Delicious but i think the red bean and the shredded ice could be better. The taste seems to be a frozen red beans and they are using a frozen shredded ice.
